Description
This Quick Guide demonstrates how an additional templated note can be added to another templated note.
Steps
-
Add the initial templated note to the visit. This can be performed either before or after checkout:
-
Before checkout: In the Charting module (Planning mode), right-click the visit on the treatment plan card and select Add templated note.
-
After checkout: In History mode, right-click any procedure attached to the date of service and select Add templated note.
-
-
When the dialog box opens, select your desired note template from the left sidebar menu.
-
The template fields will display in the main window; fill out all applicable fields.
-
Once the fields are completed, click the checkmark icon.
-
The note will convert to text format in its assigned color. You may type additional text directly into the box if needed.
-
To stack another form, click a different template in the sidebar menu.
-
Fill out the new template fields that appear in the main area.
-
Click the checkmark again to add this data to the note.
-
The additional information will display beneath the initial template. You can continue to add as many templates as needed.
-
If you need to step away before finishing, click Finish Later to save your progress as a draft.
Note: To learn more about completing drafts, see: Editing Incomplete Templated Notes.
-
When all templates have been added and reviewed, click Save in the bottom-right corner.
-
The saved note will display in the History and Sidekick.
Note: The note's title will reflect the initial template used and will not list subsequent template names in the preview.
