In the Scheduler, double-click the appointment.
This opens the appointment to edit procedures or add and edit appointment notes. Click the Add Note or Add Templated Note at the bottom of the appointment.
A new note opens. It is tagged Appointments because it was created directly from the patient's appointment.
Enter the note. if another note tag needs to be selected, click Appointments at the bottom.
This opens the list of note tags. Select multiple tags, or change the tag by clicking the applicable category.
Click outside the note tag list to close it. The note displays the selected tags.
When the note is finished and correctly tagged, click Save Note.
The note displays at the bottom of the appointment when the appointment is open for editing
Click Update Appointment to save the changes.
- Notes do not display on the appointments in the Scheduler. This is because the Scheduler may be in view of the patients in a clinic and a note may contain confidential information. To open a note, double-click the appointment.
An appointment that has a note attached, will have an Asterix beside the time at the top of the appointment.
All notes can be viewed by clicking the Notes summary arrow in the Sidekick.
Click the note to expand it in the Sidekick.
The contents of the note can be read from the Sidekick.
The note created on this appointment is already tagged Appointments and will therefore display by default since the open module is the Scheduler.
