Description
This quick guide outlines the steps required to create a note in Curve Hero using a templated note that has been created in Curve Forms.
About
When a template is created in Curve Forms, the template can be opened in the Templated Note dialog box within Curve Hero. The questions(s) can then be answered in the Templated Note dialog box and saved as a note in Curve Hero.

Steps
Section 1 - Opening the Templated Note Dialog Box
The Templated Note dialog box can be opened in either the Sidekick, Billing module, Charting module, Notes drop-down, or Scheduler. The steps to open the Templated Note dialog box for each option is included below:
Option 1 - Opening the Templated Note Dialog Box in the Sidekick
In the sidekick, click Notes.

In the Notes dialog box, click the Add Templated Note button.

Option 2 - Opening the Templated Note Dialog Box in the Billing Module
In the Sidekick, click Billing.

In the Billing module, right-click the applicable invoice, then in the drop-down list, click Add Templated Note.

Option 3 - Opening the Templated Note Dialog Box in the Charting Module
In the Sidekick, click Charting.

In the Charting module, within the applicable treatment plan, right-click on the visit, then in the drop-down list, click Add Templated Note.

Option 4 - Opening the Templated Note Dialog Box in the Notes Drop-Down
In the Sidekick, click the Notes drop-down arrow.

In the Notes drop-down, click the Add Templated Note button.

Option 5 - Opening the Templated Note Dialog Box in the Scheduler
In the Scheduler, double-click the appointment that the templated note will be added to.

In the Edit and Existing Appointment dialog box, click the Add Templated Note button.

Note: A Templated Note can also be added to an appointment when it is first created.
Section 2 - Creating a Note in the Templated Note Dialog Box
After clicking the Add Templated Note button, the Templated Note dialog box will display. The Templates section includes a list of all of the templates that have been saved in the Note Templates section within Curve Forms. (Note: Favorited templates display at the top of the Templates list.)

Templates are stored in the template folders. To open the template folder, click on the applicable one.

All of the templates in the opened folder will display. To open a template, click on the applicable one.

The selected note template will display in the Templated Note Editor where you can input the applicable information.

To add a note tag to the Templated Note, click the Tag(s) drop down menu.

In the Tag(s) drop-down list, ensure that the applicable checkbox(es) include a checkmark. (Note: To close the list, click anywhere outside of the drop-down list.)

Click the Checkmark icon to close the Templated Note Editor and continue to save all of the inputted data. The data will not be saved to the note until the Save button is clicked in the Templated Note dialog box.

If desired, the note text can be formatted using the options included in the format menu.

In addition to formatting the note text, supplementary information can be entered into the Templated Note Editor. The questions and answers that were added from the template can also be edited.

After reviewing the note data, click the Save button to save all of the data and close the Templated Note dialog box.

The Templated Note will be saved as a note and will display in the patient's Notes dialog box.

Click on the note in the Notes dialog box to display the contents of the saved note.
