Description
This service guide outlines the steps required to configure Mango Voice in the Mango Voice Dashboard.
Important
Administrator privileges are required in order to perform the updates included in this service guide.
Background
Mango Voice is a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) cloud-based automated phone system. Integrating Mango Voice enables users to place outgoing calls and receive incoming calls in Curve Hero and Curve GRO.
Steps to Follow
- Log in to the Mango Voice portal.
- The Mango Voice portal opens and displays the Admin Dashboard calls section.
- In the sidebar, click Admin. In the Admin section, click on integrations then click on Curve Dental.
- The Integrations section will display the Integration for Curve Dental screen.
- Open the Curve Hero instance that will be integrated with Mango Voice. In the Administration menu, within the Practice information drop-down list, click Mango Voice.
- In the Mango Voice module, within the Mango Voice configuration section, ensure that the Mango Voice status for this practice toggle switch is set to Enabled.
- The Remote ID must now be copied. To do this, click the Copy remote ID button.
- Return to the window containing the logged in session of the Mango Voice portal with the Integration for Curve Dental screen open. In the Remote ID field, paste the Remote ID that was copied from Curve Hero.
- Click the Status switch to set it to the On position.
- Click the Update Integration button.
- In the sidebar, click the Api Access icon.
- If an authorization key was not previously generated, the Authorization Keys section will display the Generate button. In this scenario, click the Generate button. If however the Regenerate and Remove buttons are displayed, continue to step 15 below.
- The Authorization Key must now be copied. To do this, click the Copy key icon.
- Return to the window containing the logged in session of Curve Hero with the Mango Voice module open. Click the Edit button for the ident1/ident2/ident3 key.
- In the Edit ident1/ident2/ident3 key dialog box, paste the key that was copied from the Mango Voice portal into the ident1/ident2/ident3 key field.
- Click the Save button.
- If any phone extensions were previously added in the Mango Voice portal, they will automatically load in Curve Hero and will display in the Extensions section.
- To view the phone extensions stored in the Mango Voice portal, return to the window containing the logged in session of the Mango Voice portal. In the sidebar, click Extensions.
- The Extensions section displays the phone extensions that were previously loaded into Curve Hero. The name of each phone extension is defined in this section and can be edited if required.
Troubleshooting
Follow the steps included in the below sections if the call-pops or the entries in the Correspondence module are not displaying.

Section 1 - Confirm Mango Voice Is Enabled
- In the Sidekick, click the More menu, then click Administration.
- In the Administration menu, within the Practice information drop-down list, click Mango Voice.
- In the Mango Voice module, within the Mango Voice configuration section, ensure that the Mango Voice status for this practice toggle switch is set to Enabled.
Section 2 - Confirm Extension(s) Are Selected
- Click the Clinic Selector drop-down menu.
- In the Clinic Selector drop-down list, click Mango Voice call settings.
- The Mango Voice call settings dialog box opens and displays the extensions associated with the selected clinic.
- Each computer in a clinic can be associated with one or more extensions. This will enable the computer to accept incoming calls and place outgoing calls. If the required extension(s) are not associated with the computer, in the applicable Extension Number checkboxes, include a checkmark for the applicable extension(s).
- Click the Save button to save all changes.
