Section 1 - Accessing the User Directory Module
- In the Sidekick, click the More menu, then click Administration within the drop-down list.
- In the Administration menu, within the User management drop-down list, click User directory.
- The User Directory module is displayed.
Section 2 - Locating the User
Locate the applicable user by searching for a user or by scrolling through the user list as indicated below.
Option I - Search for a User
- In the Find user search field, enter a portion of the user's name.
Note: As data is entered, results will automatically display all users containing the search term.
- To further narrow down results, use the filter drop-down menus.
Option II - Scroll Through the User List
- Scroll through the user list to locate the applicable user(s).
Section 3 - Opening the User's Profile
After locating the user, open the user's profile by performing one of the following options:
Option I
- Double-click the applicable user row.
Option II
- Within the applicable user row, click the More Options menu, then select View profile.
Section 4 - Editing the User's Profile
- In the User Information section, click the Edit button.
- In the Edit user information dialog box, several options are available:
Option A - Updating the User's Information
Update the following fields as needed:
- First name - Required field.
- Last name - Enter the user's last name.
- User name - Ensure a unique name for login.
- Birth date - Enter or select via the calendar icon.
- Status - Set to Active or Inactive.
- Color - Select the user's color theme.
Option B - Adding a User Image
- Click the Insert image icon (visible on hover).
- Navigate to the image location, select the file, and click Open.
- The user's image is now included in the image pane.
Option C - Deleting a User Image
- Click the Delete image icon (visible on hover).
- The image is removed and defaults to the user's initials.
Option D - Updating the User's Contact Details
- In the Contact details section, update information and preferred contact method.
- After updates are complete, click Save.
- The user's updated profile is displayed.
