This quick guide outlines how to create a custom report as well as adding or removing columns, filtering data, and totaling data in a custom report.

Section 1 - Creating a Report

In the Sidekick, click the More menu, then click Reports.

In the Reports module, click the Create a New Report button.

In the Create New Report dialog box, click the report name horizontal line.

Enter the report name.

Click the Category drop-down menu.

In the Category drop-down list, click the applicable report category.
Note: Ensure the correct category is selected as the report will be saved here in the Select Report menu.

Click the Type drop-down menu.

In the Type drop-down list, click the applicable report type.

In the columns list, select the required columns.

Click the Finish button.

After the report is generated, it will display in the Reports module.
Section 2 - Adding or Removing Columns

To add or remove a column, right-click the report header row, then select or deselect columns.
Note: A checkmark indicates the column is currently included in the report.
Section 3 - Filtering Reports
Filters provide the option to display only the required data. You can filter by Date or Name.
Option A - Filter by Date

Click Add a Filter, select the Column, and choose a Date Condition.
- On date / Not on date: Includes or excludes a specific day.
- Before / After date: Includes data before or after a specific point in time.
- Is empty / Is not empty: Filters based on the presence of data.
- Dynamic date: Filters by relative periods (Today, This Month, Last Year, etc.).

Enter the date or select from the calendar, then click Apply Filters.
Option B - Filter by Name

Click Add a Filter, select the Column, and choose a Name Condition.
- Equal to / Not equal to: Exact matches.
- Is before / Is after: Alphabetical sorting filters.
- Starts with / Ends with / Contains: Partial text matches.

Enter the name criteria and click Apply Filters.
Section 4 - Totaling Data

Click the Totals Row at the bottom of the column you wish to calculate.
Note: The totals row is white and bordered at the very bottom of the report.

Select a calculation (e.g., Count, Average, Total).
- To clear a calculation, click the row again and select None.
