This quick guide outlines the steps required to set up the appointment colors in Administration.
Note
There are two ways to set up the appointment colors on the Scheduler, either by appointment type or provider.

Steps
Section 1 - Appointment Configuration
- Click on the More menu, and click Administration.
- In the Administration menu, click Scheduling, then click Scheduler configuration.
- Click the Default Appointment Color field. Select either Appointment Type or Provider.
- If Appointment Type is selected, the Appointment tags have to be set up and colors assigned in Scheduling, then Tags and Recare Types.
- If Provider is selected, then customize the color selection for each provider in their user profile in User Management.
Section 2 - Setting Appointment Confirmation Colors
- Under the Scheduling dropdown in Administration, click Appointment Confirmations.
- The Appointment Confirmation Management page will open. To edit an Appointment Confirmation Name, click the more options menu icon of the desired name.
- Click Edit.
- In the Edit Confirmation dialog box, click the color dropdown.
- The color picker menu will appear. Click the desired color.
- The new color will now appear in the color box on the Edit Confirmation dialog box. By default, the "Is Active" selection is enabled. Users may deselect this to make the confirmation name inactive.
- To save selections, click Save.
