Description
This quick guide demonstrates the available options with the Modify tool in Imaging.
Steps
- With the correct patient at the top of the Sidekick, click Imaging.
2. An image displays in the main area of the screen. The image to be modified must be in this area. To select a different image, click it in the Gallery section.
3. Click Modify.
4. The Modify image box opens. The options are:
a. Invert: Swaps the black and white in the image.
b. Flip Horizontal/Vertical: Flips the image either horizontally or vertically.
c. Gamma: Once clicked will display a bar you can increase or decrease using the mouse or the arrow keys on your keyboard. The Gamma will update in real time as you move the slider bar.
d. Brightness and Contrast: Once clicked and held down, will show you both bars for brightness and contrast; these can be increased/decreased by using your mouse or arrow keys after the bar has been clicked on. The brightness and contrast will update in real time as you move the slider bar.
e. Rotate: Brings two options to rotate 90 degrees one direction or the other. Notice that the image has changed in the image Viewer. In order to save these changes click save.
f. Sharpen: As you move the slider from left to right the images becomes increasingly sharper.
5. Any modify options that are utilized will be saved as a new version in the Image History section. Click any of these to bring up that version.
6. To revert to the original image, click Original Image.
7. Any of the versions can be saved to be applied to any image. To do this, click Save Magic.
8. When a modify setting is saved, the next time the Modify tool is opened, click Apply Magic to apply the same setting. The setting that will be applied is highlighted in the Image History section.
9. Click Save to save the image version.
10. Click Close when finished.
