This quick guide demonstrates how to set up and utilize Profile Tags.
About
Profile tags can be used to tag patients in different categories. These can be seen in the Sidekick, and used as a filter on many reports.

Section 1 - Adding a Profile Tag
- Profile tags are set up in Administration. Click the More menu, and click Administration.
- In the Administration menu, click Patient management, then click Patient profile settings.
- The Patient profile settings page opens. Click Add profile tag.
- The Add Profile Tag dialog box opens. Click the Profile Tag field, and type the name of the category or tag to be attached to a patient.
- Click Save when finished.
- The category has been added and displays in the Profile tags box.
Section 2 - Attaching a Profile Tag
- A profile tag is attached to a patient in the Profile. With the correct patient at the top of the Sidekick, click Profile.
- The Profile tag field is in the Alerts section.
- Click Add Profile Tag.
- Start typing the name of the Profile Tag. Click the profile tag that displays in the dropdown list.
- The Profile tag is attached to the patient, and a purple flag appears under their name in the Sidekick.
- Hover over the purple flag to see the profile tag attached to the patient.
Note: In the Add Profile Tag field, instead of typing the profile tag name, hit the spacebar on the keyboard to bring up a dropdown list of all available Profile Tags.
Section 3 - Filtering Reports by Profile Tag
- Many reports in Curve Hero can be filtered by Profile Tag. At the top of the Sidekick, click the More menu, then Reports.
- The Reports module opens. Click Financial reports, then Period Summary.
- Canned reports such as the Period Summary can be filtered by profile tag. Click the Profile Tags filter field.
- The Select Profile Tag(s) dialog box opens. Click All to unselect all categories from displaying.
- Click the desired Profile Tag box(es) and click Done.
