This quick guide outlines the steps required to create a block booking.
Steps

In the Sidekick calendar, click the day which requires the block booking.

In the Scheduler, within the applicable operatory, click the cursor in the time when the block booking begins while dragging and releasing the cursor to the time when the block booking ends.

In the New Appointment dialog box, click the Make a new drop-down menu, then click Block Booking.

Click the description horizontal line.

Enter a description for the block booking (e.g., Lunch, Staff Meeting).

To set a recurrence, in the Recurrence section, click the Repeats drop-down menu.

Select the applicable recurrence option:
- Never: One-time block.
- Weekly: Repeats on specific days every X weeks.
- Monthly by Date: Repeats on a specific date (e.g., the 15th).
- Monthly by Day: Repeats on a specific day (e.g., 2nd Friday).

Option: Weekly Recurrence
- Ensure Repeats is set to Weekly.

Enter the frequency (e.g., every 1 week) and check the applicable Day(s) of the week.

Select the End Date from the drop-down calendar.
Note: The Start Date cannot be modified here. If you need a different start date, cancel the dialog and re-select the correct day on the Scheduler.
Option: Monthly Recurrence
- Select either Monthly by Date or Monthly by Day.

Enter the frequency (e.g., Every 1 Month). If using Monthly by Day, specify the week (e.g., "On the 2nd").

- Select your End Date.
Finalizing the Booking

After entering all details, click Create appointment.

The block booking will now display as a solid color block in the chosen operatory.
