This quick guide outlines the steps required to view a patient's invoice details as well as the invoice details of all members in the patient's family using the Sidekick.

Section 1 - Viewing Patient Invoices Using the Sidekick
- In the Sidekick, locate the patient.

Within the Sidekick, click the Billing summary arrow.

The Billing summary section opens and the responsible party's credits and owing invoices (where applicable) are displayed.

To view additional invoice details, click the applicable invoice.

In the Billing module, the selected invoice is highlighted and expanded to display the invoice details.
Note: If the Billing module is open when an invoice is clicked, the options selected in the Date filter and Responsible Party drop-down menu will not be altered. Therefore, all invoices displayed in the Billing module will adhere to the settings selected in the Date filter and Responsible Party drop-down menu.
Section 2 - Viewing All Responsible Party Invoices Using the Sidekick
- In the Sidekick, locate the patient.

Within the Sidekick, click the Billing summary arrow to display the Billing summary section.

In the Billing summary section, the responsible party's credits and owing invoices (where applicable) are displayed.

To view additional invoice details, click the applicable invoice.

In the Billing module, the selected invoice is highlighted and expanded to display the invoice details.
Note: If the Billing module is open when an invoice is clicked, the options selected in the Date filter and Responsible Party drop-down menu will not be altered. Therefore, all invoices displayed in the Billing module will adhere to the settings selected in the Date filter and Responsible Party drop-down menu.

To view the responsible parties invoices for all accounts, click the Responsible Party drop-down menu.

In the Responsible Party drop-down menu, click the applicable patient.

The selected patient's invoice(s) will display in the Billing module and all owing invoices will be listed in the the Billing summary section.
Note: If the selected patient is a historical responsible party, the Billing summary section within the Sidekick will display the historical responsible party's owing invoices.

To use the Sidekick to view additional details about an owing invoice, click the applicable invoice.

In the Billing module, the selected invoice is highlighted and expanded to display the invoice details.
- It is important to note that anytime the Billing module or Billing summary section is opened, the current responsible party's invoices will, by default, automatically display. For example, suppose that Mathias Bethel's account is loaded in Curve Hero and his current responsible party is Veronica Bethel. Further suppose that Owen Bethel was selected in the Responsible Party drop-down menu. If another module is clicked (i.e., Correspondence, Perio Charting, etc.) and then the Billing module or Billing summary section is reopened, Veronica Bethel's billing information will display as she is Mathias Bethel's current responsible party.
