This quick guide defines the different roles that can be assigned to staff members in Rcopia (DrFirst).
Steps:
Rcopia provides a few different roles for Dentists. They are:
- Administrator: This role can go into the option section to see additional settings; can change workflow for the entire practice, the way reports appear, etc.; can change settings for others.
- Auditor: This role allows read only access to users who should be able to view everything in Rcopia, but not be able to create prescriptions or edit settings.
- PHI Exporter: This role allows for users to view and export PHI in Rcopia, but not be able to create prescriptions or edit settings.
Rcopia provides a few different roles for Staff Members. They are:
- Clinical Staff: Can create prescriptions, add/edit patient medication, and allergy lists.
- Student Staff: Similar to clinical staff, but cannot print prescriptions or become a provider agent.
- Non-Clinical Staff: Add patients, edit patient demographics, designate a pharmacy, and view prescription reports. (Note: This is the role staff are typically set to.)
- Front Desk Staff: Member type that allows a user to add patients to the practice account, edit patient demographics, and designate a patient's default pharmacy.
