Section 1 - What is the Function of the Recares Group Message Feature?
The recares group message feature enables a practice to communicate a one-time text message and/or email to multiple patients regarding their overdue recare.
Section 2 - How Do Recares Group Messages Differ from Recare Reminder Campaigns?
- In general, a reminder campaign provides the option to create an automatic text message or email notification that will be sent to a patient anytime an appointment is added or updated in Curve Hero.
- A recare reminder campaign is typically used to remind a patient about a specific recare due date.
- Recare reminder campaigns are not intended to be an ongoing, continuous reminder to patients about booking a recare appointment.
- In contrast to a recare reminder campaign, a recares group message is used to specifically target multiple patients who have not scheduled a regular hygiene cleaning appointment.
-
Recares group messages therefore provide timing specific messaging that isn’t applicable to automated reminders. This includes end of year benefits reminders and special openings.
- The recares group message feature goes beyond recare reminder campaigns by allowing a practice to increase their overdue recare outreach by:
- Reaching out to all overdue recare patients and advising them that there are, for example, openings available in the next month.
- Informing overdue patients that they risk losing out on their insurance benefits if they do not schedule their cleanings before the end of the year.
- Sending reminders to overdue recare patients during certain yearly events (e.g., holidays, back to school, spring break, etc.) and informing them about the importance of hygiene cleaning and using this opportunity to remind patients to contact a clinic to schedule a cleaning.
