Auto Claim Close allows users to select the option to automatically close claims after submission instead of having to manually find and close claims for each patient.

Begin by clicking the more options menu icon, then click Administration.
2. In the Administration side panel under Insurance Management, click Claim Configuration.
3. The Claim Configuration page will open. To enable Auto Claim Close, click inside the gray checkmark box to select Automatically close claim when insurance payment posts. By default, the Auto Claim Close feature is not selected or enabled.
4. Once selected, the option will have a blue checkmark indicating that Auto Claim Close is now enabled.
5. With Auto Close Claim enabled, claims that have payments posted will automatically close with a Claim Tag: Closed status.
6. Auto Claim Close also works for secondary insurances. Regardless of primary or secondary insurance, Auto Claim Close will work as long as the payment is posted to the same insurance plan as the claim was created on.
