This article provides a table that can be filled out to keep track of all the insurance policies and plans that are added or edited for patients during the conversion period.
About
In most conversions there are a few days between when the final data is pulled from your legacy software and converted into your live Curve Hero database.
Anything that is added or changed during the conversion period needs to be manually added into your live database after you go live. You will need to keep a careful record of everything so nothing is missed.
Steps:
- Print the checklist by pressing Control + P (for PC) or Command + P (for Mac) on the keyboard.
- Record the insurance details that are added or edited during the conversion interim, and add them to the table below.
- Remember to attach new policies to existing plans in Curve wherever possible. Only add a new plan if it does not exist.
- There is not room in this table to add all the coverage and plan details. Enter these in your legacy software, then manually enter them in Curve Hero after you go live.
- Remember to Re-estimate insurance on the treatment plan or invoice, or Re-calculate the appointment to update the estimates.
