Description
This quick guide demonstrates how to utilize the Queue to reschedule appointments.
Steps
- Locate the patient's appointment on the Scheduler that needs to be rescheduled.
- Click the appointment heading at the top of the appointment.
- Drag the appointment to the Sidekick, then drop the appointment anywhere in the Sidekick.
- The Sidekick automatically opens the Queue tab. Other appointments might be stored here waiting to be rescheduled.
- In the calendar, select a new date. This changes the Scheduler to the selected date.
- Reschedule the patient's appointment by dragging the appointment from the queue, then dropping the appointment onto the Scheduler at the correct time and in the correct operatory.
- The patient's appointment is rescheduled.
- The queue can also be accessed by clicking the Queue tab in the Sidekick.
- If required, the queue can be filtered by clinic. For more information, refer to the quick guide, Filtering Appointments in the Queue by Clinic.
Note: As the queue can only hold up to 50 appointments, it is important to reschedule appointments in the queue as soon as possible.
