This quick guide outlines the steps required to create, add, and view profile tags for patients and non-patients in a practice.
About
Profile tags enable users to create custom profile tags which can be added to any patient and non-patient account in Curve Hero. These tags were designed to categorize and provide additional, non-medical related information, about any profile in Curve Hero. Profile tags assist in grouping similar patients in specific categories. Understanding this information is important as it provides insight into the patient and non-patient base at a practice. With this data, personalized and targeted materials can be communicated to patients and non-patients which can increase opportunities to add additional revenue to a practice.

Section 1 - Accessing the Profile Tags Module

In the Sidekick, click the More Menu button, then select Administration.

In the Administration menu, within the patient management drop-down list, click Patient Profile Settings.

The Profile Tags module is displayed.
Section 2 - Creating a Profile Tag

To begin the process of creating a Profile Tag, in the Profile Tags module, click Add Profile Tag.

In the Add Profile Tag dialog box, within the Profile Tag Field, enter a brief description about the Profile Tag.

Click Save.

The Profile Tag is added to the Profile Tags module and can now be added to both patient and non-patient accounts.
Section 3 - Adding a Profile Tag to a Patient's Profile

To begin the process of adding a Profile Tag to a patient's Profile, in the Sidekick, click Profile.

In the Profile module, within the Profile Tags section, click Add Profile Tag.

In the Add Profile Tag field, enter the Profile Tag.

In the Add Profile Tag drop-down list, click the applicable profile tag.

All selected profile tags will display in the profile tags section.
Section 4 - Adding Profile Tags to Non-Patient Profiles

To begin the process of adding a Profile Tag to a non-patient profile in the Sidekick, locate the applicable contact. In the Edit Contact dialog box, within the profile tags section, click Profile Tags.

In the add Profile Tag drop-down list, click the applicable Profile Tag.

All selected Profile Tags will display in the Profile Tags section.
Section 5 - Viewing the Profile Tags in The Sidekick

The Profile Tags flag indicator will display in the sidekick when a Profile Tag has been added to a patient's account.

To view all Profile Tags added to the patient's account, hover the cursor over the Profile Tags flag indicator.
Section 6 - Viewing the Profile Tags in the Snapshot Dashboard

The Profile Tags flag indicator will display in the snapshot dashboard when a Profile Tag has been added to a patient's account.

To view additional details about a Profile Tag, hove the cursor over the Profile Tags flag indicator.
Section 7 - Viewing Profile Tag Data in Custom Reports

A custom report can be generated to view the Profile Tag data for patients and non-patients in a practice. When creating a custom report, ensure that the Profile Tags column is selected in the Create New Report dialog box.

After the report is generated, in the filters menu, the data can be filtered according to the Profile Tags column.

The Profile Tags column will display only the data corresponding to the information included in the filters menu.
Section 8 - Viewing the Profile Tag Data in Canned Reports

Canned reports (aka default reports) are reports that re native to curve hero. the data contained in these reports will only display according to the categories included in the report. the option to display profile tag data for patients and non-patients in a practice are included in the following canned reports:
Adjustment Summary
Bank Deposit
Collection Summary
Correction Summary
Outstanding Treatment Plan
Period Summary
Recare Due Date
Responsible Party Aging Summary

To select which profile tags will display in a canned report, click Profile Tags.

In the Select Profile Tag(s) dialog box, include a checkmark next to the profile tags that will display in the report.
- The report can display patients who have the profile tag(s) added to their account as selected in the above step, as well as the patients who do no have a profile tag added to their account. To only display report data that includes patients who have profile tag(s) attached to their account, ensure that the show patients with no profile tags checkbox does not contain a checkmark.
- After Clicking Run Report, the Report will include the Profile Tags column and also displays the data as selected in the above steps.
