This guide helps you determine the version of Schick sensor an office has.
Background
Most offices know what type of sensor they have, but most don't know what version they have. The easiest way to tell is by having the office describe the remote box to you. The box is a USB converter that the sensor plugs into, and in turn the box plugs into the computer via USB.
Steps to Follow
The Schick 33 is the newest model in the Schick sensor line. It uses the same driver that the Elite uses but has a different sensor. Curve supports the Schick 33 via Direct integration into Curve Capture and by the use of Twain.
Schick 33
The Schick CDR Elite sensor is a newer version of the Schick sensors which uses a white Remote box. CurveHero does support the Schick Elite sensor. Below is a picture of a Schick Elite sensor. You will notice that the box is white and also has three different lights on the box. The box having three lights rather than two is the most distinguishing marks of an Elite Remote box vs the other white Remote HS boxes.
Schick CDR Elite Sensor - Remote box
The Schick CDR 2000 sensor is an older generation sensor which is also supported by CurveHero. This sensor uses a white Remote HS box (not to be confused with the Elite's Remote box). Below is a picture of a Schick CDR 2000 sensor and Remote HS box. Notice that the box is white and has only two lights on it. The fact that it only has two lights is the most distinguishing factor between the Remote HS and the white Remote box for Elite sensors.

All other models of sensors use a black Remote box. No matter which sensor the office has if they are using a black Remote box it will not function with CurveHero. Any older generation sensor not pictured above is not compatible with CurveHero.
