Section 4 - FAQ
My ScanX machine is installed and detectable in Curve Hero, but it's not capturing an image Why?
If you are attempting to scan a blank image through your ScanX machine and the Curve Capturing just continues to run without capturing an image you will need to replace the blank film/image with an actual xray image. The ScanX software is seeing the blank film/image as an invalid image and is not sending the image to Curve Hero.If you don't want to loose the valid image in ScanX you can mark in ScanX the option to not delete the image after it is transferred.
Which Phosphor Plate devices integrate with Curve Hero?
The following ScanX models are supported in Curve Hero:
- ScanX Classic F3700
- ScanX Ortho F3750

Should I have ScanX turned on in Active Devices?
Scan-X settings are optimizized by utilizing Twain. If you are using twain and the direct integration at the same time, the computer may disconnect and reconnect to the wrong driver between X-rays.
Activate twain, and turn the direct integration off to avoid this issue.
Why do ScanX images have lines in them?
If the lines appear to cut through the image it is likely a hardware issue. You will need to contact ScanX directly.
Why are scans missing large portions of the image?
If the image cuts off abrubtly, and you know it is not a positioning issue, it is most likely a hardware issue. You will need to contact ScanX directly.
