Creating, Printing, and Exporting the Fee Guide Comparison Report

This quick guide outlines the steps required to create, run, print, and export the Fee Guide Comparison report.

About

The Fee Guide Comparison report enables a practice to view a comparison of production performance between two different fee guides for both historical and scheduled production.

1. Within the Sidekick, click the More menu, then click Reports in the drop-down list.

   

2. In the Select Report menu, click Financial Reports, then click Fee Guide Comparison.

   

3. The Fee Guide Comparison report opens in a new tab.

   

4. To choose the reporting date(s):

   1. Click the Date field.

      

   2. In the Select date dialog box, choose the appropriate date option, then click the Done button.

      

5. The base fee guide functions as the fee guide that will be compared against. To select the base fee guide:

   1. Click the Base Fee Guide drop-down menu.

      

   2. In the drop-down list, click the applicable base fee guide.

      

6. The comparison fee guide will be compared against the base fee guide. To select the comparison fee guide:

   1. Click the Comparison Fee Guide drop-down menu.

      

   2. In the drop-down list, click the applicable comparison fee guide.

      

7. To select the clinic(s) that will be included in the report:

   1. Click the Clinic(s) drop-down menu.
      Note: If a practice has only ever had one clinic, the Clinic(s) drop-down menu will not display.

      

   2. Select the applicable clinic(s) within the Active and Inactive columns, then click the Done button.

      

8. There are two sections that can be included within the report. To select the section(s) to display:

   1. Click the Sections to display drop-down menu.

      

   2. In the drop-down list, select the applicable section(s) to display in the report.

      

9. To include production which is scheduled, select the option to Include scheduled production.
   Note: Selecting the Include scheduled production option will display future production in the Fee Guide Comparison report according to the reporting dates entered in the Date field. If this option is not selected, the report will only display the completed production.

   

10. To create the Fee Guide Comparison report, click the Run report button.

    

11. The report is displayed. The data contained in the Difference column is calculated as follows:

    • Difference = Base fee guide cost - Comparison fee guide cost

    

12. To print the report, click the Print button.

    

13. To convert the report into a CSV file, click the Export CSV button.
