Steps
- In Curve Hero, click the Application switcher drop-down menu, then click Curve GRO within the drop-down list.
- Curve GRO opens in a new browser tab.
Section 2 - Accessing the LiveText Section
- In the Sidebar menu, click LiveText.
- The LiveText section is displayed.
Section 3 - Creating a Text Message for a New Patient
To create a text message for a patient who does not have an account in Curve Hero, follow the steps as indicated below:
- To begin creating a text message for a new patient, perform one of the following actions:
- Click the Find patient search field.
- Click the Add new text message button.
- In the Find patient search field, enter the patient's mobile number.
- In the drop-down list, click the Add new text message button.
- In the text message field, enter the message.
- To send the message to the patient, click the send message icon or press the Enter key.
- The message timestamp and status displays below the message. Immediately after the message is sent, it will be temporarily queued.
- After the message has been successfully sent, the message timestamp is updated and the status will display as Delivered.

Section 4 - Creating a Text Message for an Existing Patient
To create a text message for a patient who has an account in Curve Hero, follow the steps as indicated below:
- To begin creating a text message for an existing patient, perform one of the following actions:
- Click the Find patient search field.
- Click the Add new text message button.
- In the Find patient search field, either enter the patient's name or mobile number as indicated below:
- Enter the name of the patient.
- In the Find patient search results, click the applicable patient.
- Enter the mobile number of the patient.
- In the Find patient search results, click the applicable patient.
- In the text message field, enter the message.
- To send the message to the patient, click the send message icon or press the Enter key.
- The message timestamp and status displays below the message. Immediately after the message is sent, it will be temporarily queued.
- After the message has been successfully sent, the message timestamp is updated and the status will display as Delivered.

Option A - Enter the Patient's Name
Note: As data is entered into the Find patient search field, the search results will automatically display all entries containing the search term(s).
Note: If a mobile number is associated with multiple patients in Curve Hero, all patients with the same mobile number will display in the search results.
Note: If a mobile number is associated with a single patient in Curve Hero, the patient's name will display above their mobile number in the LiveText section. When a mobile number is associated with more than one patient in Curve Hero, the number of patients with the same mobile number will replace the patient's name.
