Description
This quick guide outlines the steps required to save a patient's credit card in the Billing module.
About
A patient's credit card can be stored for future transactions without having to process a payment. After the patient's credit card is saved, all future transactions can be charged to the credit card without a physical card.
Steps
In the Sidekick, click Billing.
In the Billing module, click the Manage Cards On File icon.
The Manage Cards On File dialog box will display. Click the Add New Card drop-down arrow.
In the Add New Card drop-down list, click Virtual Terminal.
Note: If the Virtual Terminal option is grayed out, then there is either no connected account associated with the clinic or payments are not enabled in Administration within the Curve Pay module.
In the Card Setup - Virtual Terminal dialog box, enter the patient's credit card details.
Click the Submit button.
The credit card will now display in the Manage Cards On File dialog box and the patient can use this as a method of payment when required.
