Steps
Section 1 - Creating a Responsible Party Aging report
- Within the Sidekick, click the More menu, then click on Reports in the drop-down list.

- The Responsible Party Aging report is displayed.

11. The Responsible Party Aging report containing the filtered data is displayed.

Section 2 - Creating a Period Summary Report
1. Within the Sidekick, click the More menu, then click on Reports in the drop-down list.

2. In the Select Report menu, click Financial Reports, then click Period Summary.

3. The Period Summary report window opens in a new tab.

4. To choose the reporting date(s):
i. Click the Date field.

ii. In the Select date dialog box, choose the appropriate date option, then click the Done button.

5. To select the provider(s) of service:
i. Click the Provider(s) of service drop-down menu.

ii. Select the applicable provider(s) of service within the Active and Inactive columns, then click the Done button.

6. To select the default dentist(s):
i. Click the Default dentist(s) drop-down menu.

ii. Select the applicable default dentist(s) within the Active and Inactive columns, then click the Done button.

7. The report can include the clinic(s) where the adjustments were applied. To select the clinics(s):
i. Click the Clinic(s) drop-down menu.

ii. Select the applicable clinics(s) within the Active and Inactive columns, then click the Done button.

8. The report can be ordered by date or patient name. To select how the report is ordered:
i. Click on the Report ordered drop-down menu.

ii. In the drop-down list, select the applicable report ordering type.

9. To select which profile tag(s) should be included in the report:
i. Click the Profile tag(s) drop-down menu.

ii. Select the applicable profile tag(s) within the Active and Inactive columns, then click the Done button.

10. There are four sections that can be included within the report. To select the section(s) to display:
i. Click the Sections to display drop-down menu.

ii. In the drop-down list, select the applicable section(s) to display in the report

11. To include providers that have no production in the report, select the option to Show providers with no production.

12. To create the Period Summary report, click the Run Report button.

13. The report is displayed.

14. To print the report, click the Print button.

15. To convert the report into a CSV file, click the Export CSV button.

Section 3 - Generating a Tax Receipt
1. In the Sidekick, locate the patient.
2. Within the Sidekick, click Billing.

3. In the Billing Module, click the More billing options menu, then click Generate tax receipt.

4. The Generate Tax Receipt dialog box is displayed.

5. To select the start date, click the Start Date drop-down menu, then select the applicable date within the calendar.

6. To select the end date, click the End Date drop-down menu, then select the applicable date within the calendar.

7. The tax receipt can either be printed or emailed as indicated below:
- Print Tax Receipt
i. In the Generate Tax Receipt dialog box, click Print Tax Receipt.

ii. The tax receipt is displayed in a new tab.

- Email Tax Receipt
i. In the Generate Tax Receipt dialog box, click Email Tax Receipt.

ii. The tax receipt is emailed and a message indicating the Email has been sent is displayed.
